SHA supports the NGO Aarohi, a healthcare initiative in Uttarakhand that provides essential medical services to marginalised populations. Through its 24/7 outpatient and emergency care, inpatient services, diagnostics, injury treatments, and dental care, Aarohi ensures continuous healthcare access in the Kumaon region of east Uttarakhand.

Surgical Camps: Affordable,
Life-Changing Care
In Satoli, specialised surgicals are arranged 4-5 times a year, mainly in General Surgery and Urology. For two camps, a voluntary Swiss Surgery Team travels to India to review patients, operate a number of cases on 3-5 days, and ensure follow-up. Simultaneously, we hold lectures on important medical topics and train the medical skills of the team of doctors.

CanKids
Fighting Childhood Cancer
SHA, in collaboration with CanKids India at AIIMS Hospital Rishikesh, is working to provide high-quality, comprehensive cancer care for children, ensuring they get the treatment they need without financial barriers. Since SHA is involved the numbers of children treated annually have more than doubled, from 240 to over 500.
